Website redesign for Car rental and limousine service company

Second version of our information system, dedicated to the car design, contains articles on the history, styles and trends in automotive design, features reviews and photos of the majority concept cars and most eminent examples of car style, tells about the world-best car design studios and their works, lists the biographies of famous designers.

We were to create a site conception for the limousine servces and car rent company.

In 1999 we developed a rather stylish for that time design of the site for Forpost Company. The Company sells and installs automobile alarm systems, audio systems and accessories. The idea of the site was that each section was represented by a medieval character drawn in water color technique with a certain artefact in hands serving as an icon for the given section. For example "Security Systems" section was preceded by the guard with a shield, the latter serving as the section icon.

It was necessary to conduct restyling without departing from the design well-known to the site’s users, to update the site to a modern level as well as install the content management system.

This information and directory system, dedicated to the car design, contains articles on the history, styles and trends in automotive design, features reviews and photos of the majority of modern concept cars and most eminent examples of car style, tells about the world-best car design studios and their works, lists the biographies of famous designers. The system needs a well-developed search engine and the option of selecting the articles by keywords, discussion groups dedicated to automotive design topics.
