The re-design of the site is dedicated to the 70-th aniversity of State Aviation Technical University of Ufa. The site contains large volumes of various information: education courses, schedules for students and the staff, publications from different scientific conferences. Very important information object to be displayed on the site is the directory of the staff. The cover page design should highlight this dynamics of the University life, the abundance of different activities in scientific and educational life of the University.

To ease the navigation, we organized the information on the cover page according to the type of target audience:

• for University entrants
• for students
• for lecturers

The most prominent place on the cover page occupies the link to the directory of the staff, produced as the random selection from the staff database with a photo.

The page also features custom-made Flash video dedicated to the University’s 70-th anniversary.

All navigation elements are grouped in the page heading block, same for all site pages.
